In episode nine of the Spatially Aware podcast, Jake Fruci and Kevin Marchand speak about social media, friction in conversations, offensiveness, and some current limitations of Left-leaning politics.
Jake Fruci is a graduate from Bridgewater State University, with a degree in mathematics. He is currently a computer engineer at Enservio Inc., an insurance claim processing software and service company, where he has been since earning his degree. Jake spends his free time biking, running, playing basketball, and writing/listening to music. He has grown up spending his summers in the woods, so he appreciates the quiet nature and the utility of disconnecting, the importance of independence.

In episode 8 of Spatially Aware, Dan Burkowsky and Kevin Marchand get into the thicket of Leftist politics. More specifically, they debate the role of history in informing the present, the obligations of an ostensibly "Good Nation," the utility of guilt, and more.
Dan Burkowsky is an English language teacher in Boston working with university students, adults, and immigrants. He studied social anthropology with minors in education and Spanish at Umass Amherst. He will start a masters program at the University of Cartegena in Columbia, studying the causes of immigration to the US from Central America and the Caribbean and how to create a better educational system for a diverse population. In the seventh episode of Spatially Aware, Matt Piana and I speak about a number of things including climate change, the 2016 US election, the Left, Immigration, and more.
